You will need a legal ID such as your drivers license. If you have insurance, you will need to bring your insurance card. If you do not bring your insurance card, we will require payment for that session. If you are requesting a reduced fee, we need proof of income such as a paycheck stub or SSI statement. If you have nothing else you may bring a notarized letter.
If you cancel in less than 24 hours, or do not show up for your appointment, you will owe us $50 which must be paid prior to seeing your counselor again. This will be enforced even if you have a co-pay that is under $50 because your insurance won’t pay if you don’t come. Your counselor has arranged his/her schedule to spend that hour with you and just as your expect to be paid for your time at work, so does your counselor. If you have a true emergency (such as being in the hospital) let us know.
We accept most private insurances and offer a sliding scale.
Our usual fees without insurance are:
$100/125 per session for a licensed counselor/psychologist. Psychological testing for children with a written report starts at $300 and the total cost depends on the number of sessions needed to complete the testing.
A Sliding scale is available for those who don’t have insurance. We need proof of income to determine your fees. Sliding fees are for counseling only.
Everyone is welcome to join a group. No income limits for groups. Groups start at $20/session.

Sorry, we DO NOT take Medicaid or Medicare.
You may chose to pay on-line for your session in advance if you prefer. This will save you time when you arrive at the office, and we will Never charge you a convenience fee.
If you have an emergency where you need someone to come to your house or you need transport to a hospital, call 911.
